Celebrate the great traditions of British and Irish golf with the Lady Clare Golf Course Coasters – St. Andrews Collection. Featuring six beautifully illustrated golf-course scenes, this distinctive boxed set makes a wonderful addition to the home, study, clubhouse or golf lover’s bar.
At the heart of the collection is The Old Course at St. Andrews, one of the most historic and celebrated golf courses in the world. Located in St. Andrews, Scotland, the Old Course is closely associated with the origins and traditions of the game and has become an enduring symbol of golf.
The set goes beyond St. Andrews to showcase six different golf-course designs, representing famous courses and golfing destinations in Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales. From the unmistakable coastal scenery of Turnberry to the celebrated courses at Gleneagles and The Belfry, each coaster evokes the heritage and character of golf in the British Isles.
The six featured courses are:
• St. Andrews – The Old Course
• The Belfry – Brabazon Course, 10th Hole
• Turnberry – Ailsa Craig & Lighthouse
• St. Pierre Golf & Country Club
• Gleneagles – King's Course
• Killarney Fishing & Golf Centre
Made in Great Britain, these Lady Clare melamine coasters combine classic sporting imagery with the quality and practicality for which Lady Clare has been known since 1932.
The hard-wearing surface is heat resistant to 150°C (300°F), while Lady Clare's distinctive curved edges help reduce damage during use and prolong the life of the coasters. A soft green felt backing helps protect tables and furniture.
Presented as a boxed set of six, these coasters make an excellent gift for a golfer, golf enthusiast, country club member or anyone with fond memories of playing the legendary courses of Britain and Ireland. They are equally at home in a study, library, home bar, golf clubhouse or traditional sporting interior.
