Add a touch of charm and personality to your home with the Lady Clare Naive Animals Coasters. Featuring a delightful collection of colorful animal designs, these distinctive coasters combine the character of traditional naïve and folk-inspired artwork with the fine British craftsmanship for which Lady Clare has been known since 1932.
The term “naïve art” traditionally describes artwork characterized by its direct, uncomplicated style, strong colors and charming perspective. Animals have long been favorite subjects of folk and naïve artists, whose work often captures their subjects with warmth, personality and a wonderful sense of individuality.
Lady Clare’s Naive Animals Collection celebrates this decorative tradition with colorful animal imagery that feels both playful and timeless. The designs have an appealing country character that works especially well in traditional, eclectic and English country interiors.
Each boxed set contains six coasters featuring a combination of four different Naive Animals designs, creating an attractive variety within the collection.
The colorful artwork is presented against Lady Clare’s rich Bottle Green painted background, while elegant hand-gilded edges provide the refined finishing touch associated with Lady Clare’s Traditional Collection.
Since 1932, Lady Clare has been creating fine English lacquered placemats, coasters, trays and decorative home accessories. Made in Great Britain, the Naive Animals Coasters continue that tradition of combining distinctive artwork, practical durability and timeless British design.
The hard-wearing lacquered surface is heat resistant to 150°C (300°F), while the soft green felt/flock backing helps protect tables and other furniture. Lady Clare’s distinctive curved edges are designed to help reduce damage during everyday use and prolong the life of the coasters.
The Naive Animals Coasters are particularly charming in an English Country House, country cottage, farmhouse kitchen, library, study or traditional family room. Their colorful animal artwork also allows them to work beautifully in more eclectic interiors.
Presented in a gift box, they make an especially appealing gift for an animal lover, folk-art enthusiast, country-home enthusiast or anyone who appreciates unusual British home accessories.
Pair them with coordinating Lady Clare Naive Animals Placemats, Tablemats, Tray and home accessories to create a distinctive collection filled with color and character.
