Celebrate the elegance and excitement of classic sailing with the Lady Clare J Class Yachts Continental Melamine Placemats, featuring handsome nautical artwork inspired by the magnificent J Class racing yachts.
Known for their graceful lines, towering sails and association with competitive yacht racing, J Class yachts represent one of the most celebrated traditions in sailing. Their combination of beauty, engineering and performance has made these legendary yachts enduring favorites among sailors and maritime enthusiasts.
The Lady Clare J Class Yachts Collection captures this classic nautical spirit, bringing the elegance of sailing and life on the water to the dining table.
Part of the Lady Clare Melamine Collection, these generously sized Continental Placemats combine distinctive yachting imagery with the durability and practicality needed for everyday dining and entertaining.
Since 1932, Lady Clare has been known for creating fine English placemats, tablemats, coasters and decorative home accessories. The J Class Yachts Collection continues that tradition by combining timeless nautical style with practical British craftsmanship.
The hard-wearing melamine surface provides durability for everyday use, while the soft green felt/flock backing helps protect tables and other furniture. Lady Clare's distinctive curved edges help reduce damage during use and prolong the life of the placemats.
Measuring approximately 15.5 × 11.5 inches, the generous Continental size provides ample room for a dinner plate, flatware and glassware, making these larger placemats particularly well suited to complete place settings, dinner parties and entertaining.
Their classic sailing imagery makes the J Class Yachts Placemats particularly attractive in a coastal home, yacht, boat, seaside cottage or nautical-themed dining room.
They also make a distinctive gift for a sailor, yachtsman, boat owner, sailing enthusiast, J Class enthusiast or anyone who appreciates classic yachts and maritime history.
Pair them with coordinating Lady Clare J Class Yachts Small Placemats, Tablemats and Coasters to create a complete nautical table setting.
