Celebrate the excitement and tradition of the turf with the Lady Clare Horse Racing Small Melamine Placemats, featuring distinctive racing imagery by Pat Owen.
These handsome placemats capture the spirit, movement and elegance of horse racing. The combination of powerful racehorses, skilled jockeys and classic sporting imagery makes this collection especially appealing to racing enthusiasts, horse lovers and admirers of traditional British sporting life.
Horse racing has been closely associated with British sporting culture for centuries, from historic race meetings and country estates to England's celebrated racecourses. The Lady Clare Racing Collection brings that distinctive equestrian character to the dining table in a practical and decorative form.
Part of the Lady Clare Melamine Collection, these Small Placemats combine classic British sporting imagery with the durability and practicality needed for everyday dining.
Since 1932, Lady Clare has been known for creating fine English placemats, tablemats, coasters and decorative home accessories. The Racing Collection continues that tradition by pairing Pat Owen's distinctive sporting artwork with practical British craftsmanship.
The hard-wearing melamine surface is heat resistant to 150°C / 300°F, while the soft green felt/flock backing helps protect tables and other furniture. Lady Clare's distinctive curved edges help reduce damage during everyday use and prolong the life of the placemats.
Measuring approximately 11.73 × 8.74 inches, the Small size is ideal for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and smaller dining tables where a full-size Continental Placemat may be too large.
Their classic racehorse imagery makes these placemats particularly attractive in an English country house, equestrian home, racing enthusiast's dining room, library, study or traditional country interior.
They also make a distinctive gift for a horse racing enthusiast, racehorse owner, rider, horse lover, equestrian enthusiast or admirer of British sporting art.
Pair them with coordinating Lady Clare Racing Melamine Coasters and Tablemats to create a complete horse racing-inspired table setting.
