Classic, elegant and exceptionally versatile, the Lady Clare White Screened Coasters bring timeless English style to both traditional and contemporary interiors.
The crisp white lacquered finish creates a fresh, sophisticated foundation for glassware, while elegant hand-gilded edges add a subtle touch of gold. The combination of white and gold gives these coasters a refined appearance that works beautifully with virtually any color scheme.
Part of the Lady Clare Screened Collection, these coasters are particularly versatile because their understated solid-color design complements patterned china, crystal glassware and decorative table linens without competing with them.
Since 1932, Lady Clare has been creating fine English lacquered placemats, coasters and decorative home accessories. The White Screened Collection continues that tradition with its combination of classic design, practical durability and British craftsmanship.
The hard-wearing lacquered surface is heat resistant to 150°C / 300°F, while the soft green felt/flock backing helps protect tables and fine furniture. Lady Clare's distinctive curved edges help reduce damage during everyday use and prolong the life of the coasters.
Presented as a boxed set of six, these coasters are ideal beneath wine glasses, cocktails, coffee cups and tea cups.
Their crisp white finish makes them especially versatile for decorating. Pair them with blue-and-white china for a classic look, colorful ceramics for a more casual table, or gold-toned accessories for an elegant white-and-gold presentation.
The timeless neutral color makes these coasters equally at home in an English country house, formal dining room, coastal home, contemporary apartment or traditional interior.
Their elegant simplicity also makes them an excellent wedding, housewarming, hostess or holiday gift.
Pair them with coordinating Lady Clare White Screened Placemats and Tablemats to create a complete table setting.
