Classic, elegant and exceptionally versatile, the Lady Clare Oxford Blue Screened Round Coasters bring timeless English style to both traditional and contemporary interiors.
The rich Oxford Blue finish creates a sophisticated foundation for glassware, while elegant hand-gilded edges add a subtle touch of gold. The handsome combination of deep blue and gold makes these Round Coasters equally suited to everyday use and formal entertaining.
Part of the Lady Clare Screened Collection, these coasters feature a painted base protected by a durable lacquered finish. Their understated solid-color design complements patterned china, crystal glassware and decorative table linens without competing with them.
Since 1932, Lady Clare has been creating fine English lacquered placemats, tablemats, coasters and decorative home accessories. The Oxford Blue Screened Collection continues that tradition with its combination of classic design, practical durability and British craftsmanship.
The hard-wearing lacquered surface is heat resistant to 150°C / 300°F, while the soft green felt/flock backing helps protect tables and fine furniture.
Presented as a boxed set of six Round Coasters, they are ideal beneath wine glasses, cocktails, coffee cups and tea cups.
The rich Oxford Blue color makes them particularly attractive in an English country house, traditional library, formal dining room, home bar, coastal or nautical interior, or sophisticated contemporary home.
Pair them with crystal or white glassware for a crisp classic presentation, traditional ceramics for an English country look, or gold-toned accessories for an elegant blue-and-gold setting.
Pair them with coordinating Lady Clare Oxford Blue Screened Round Placemats and Round Tablemats to create a complete table setting.
