Celebrate the beauty and character of historic London with the Lady Clare Shepherd's London Green Continental Placemats. This elegant boxed set of six features six different London scenes, combining classic British imagery with the traditional craftsmanship for which Lady Clare has been known since 1932.
Each placemat presents a different view of London, capturing the architecture, landmarks and distinctive atmosphere of England's historic capital. The artwork is surrounded by a rich bottle-green painted background, creating a sophisticated look that is especially at home in traditional and English-inspired interiors.
Elegant hand-gilded edges add a refined finishing touch, beautifully complementing the deep green border and detailed London artwork. The generous Continental size provides an impressive setting for dinnerware while allowing the individual designs to become a decorative feature of the table.
Perfect for formal dining, entertaining or an elegant everyday table, these Continental Placemats pair beautifully with fine china, crystal, silver and traditional table linens. Their classic styling is equally suited to an English country house-inspired dining room, library or traditionally decorated home.
Since 1932, Lady Clare has been creating fine English lacquered tableware and home accessories. Made in Great Britain, these placemats combine decorative artistry with a durable finish designed for practical use.
Lady Clare's distinctive curved edges help reduce wear during use and prolong the life of the mats, while the soft green backing helps protect tables and other fine furniture surfaces.
Pair them with coordinating Shepherd's London Green Coasters and Tablemats to create a beautifully coordinated collection celebrating London and traditional English craftsmanship.
