Bring the elegance and character of historic London to your dining table with the Lady Clare Shepherd's London Oxford Blue Continental Placemats. This distinguished boxed set of six features six different London scenes, combining classic British imagery with the traditional craftsmanship for which Lady Clare has been known since 1932.
Each Continental Placemat presents a different view of London, celebrating the architecture, landmarks and enduring character of England's historic capital. The detailed artwork is framed by a rich Oxford Blue painted background, creating a sophisticated presentation that beautifully complements the traditional London scenes.
Elegant hand-gilded edges add a refined finishing touch and enhance the deep blue border. With six different designs in every set, each place setting features its own individual London scene while creating a beautifully coordinated table.
The generous Continental size provides an impressive setting for dinnerware and allows the detailed artwork to become a decorative feature of the table. These placemats are particularly well suited to formal dining, entertaining and traditional English-inspired interiors, pairing beautifully with fine china, crystal, silver and classic table linens.
Since 1932, Lady Clare has been creating fine English lacquered tableware and home accessories. Made in Great Britain, these Continental Placemats combine decorative artistry with the quality craftsmanship and attention to detail associated with the Lady Clare name.
Their hard-wearing surface is designed for practical use, while Lady Clare's distinctive curved edges help reduce wear and prolong the life of the mats. A soft green flock backing helps protect dining tables and other fine furniture surfaces.
Pair them with coordinating Shepherd's London Oxford Blue Coasters and Tablemats to create an elegant collection celebrating historic London and traditional English craftsmanship.
