Bring the timeless charm and character of historic London to your table with the Lady Clare Shepherd's London Red Small Placemats. This elegant boxed set of six features six different London scenes, combining classic British imagery with the traditional craftsmanship for which Lady Clare has been known since 1932.
Each small placemat features a different view of London, celebrating the architecture, landmarks and distinctive atmosphere of England's historic capital. The detailed artwork is framed by a rich Regal Red painted background, creating a warm and sophisticated presentation with unmistakable British character.
Elegant hand-gilded edges provide a refined finishing touch and beautifully complement the deep red background. With six different designs in every set, each place setting offers its own individual London scene while maintaining a beautifully coordinated appearance.
The smaller size makes these placemats particularly versatile. They are ideal for breakfast, luncheon, afternoon tea, light meals or occasions when a more compact place setting is preferred. Their rich red coloring pairs beautifully with white or cream dinnerware, traditional English china, crystal and silver.
The classic combination of London scenes and Regal Red also makes these placemats especially attractive for Christmas and holiday entertaining, while remaining elegant enough for year-round use.
Since 1932, Lady Clare has been creating fine English lacquered tableware and home accessories. Made in Great Britain, these small placemats combine decorative artistry with the quality craftsmanship associated with the Lady Clare name.
Their hard-wearing surface is designed for practical everyday use, while Lady Clare's distinctive curved edges help reduce wear and prolong the life of the mats. A soft green backing helps protect dining tables and other fine furniture surfaces.
Pair them with coordinating Shepherd's London Red Coasters and Tablemats to create an elegant collection celebrating historic London and traditional English craftsmanship.
